Topic/Skill: Grammar (Present verbs) 

Teacher Presentation: The teacher explained the frequency of verbs used in the English language as well as listing when to use them. 

Classroom Management: The teacher stayed on top of students to stay engaged, especially if they went on their phones. 

Materials: PowerPoint

Student Participation: Everyone needed to provide an example to get the teacher out of jury duty. 

Feedback Provided: The teacher provided feedback on the right tense to use in a sentence depending on what the student was trying to say. 

Lesson(s) on teaching you learned: Go with the flow and be casual with the students to keep them interested in the lesson, as well as having fun with them.

Don't be shy when correcting yourself or asking others to slow down when speaking.  Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: ESL student wants to focus on improving listening skills first, as that is their weakest point compared to reading, writing, speaking, and grammar.
